Chris Hayton
Development Manager
Chris Hayton has worked as a software developer in different sectors including oil and electricity retail, game development and mobile phone software. He joined edge learning solutions in 2017 to work on the mobile app. He now heads up our development team.
Scott Foster
Software Developer
Scott gained his degree in 2019 and has worked as a software developer since, joining the edge learning solutions team in 2021. Before this, he worked as a customer service representative, a groundskeeper and a barista.
Hayden Rogers
Software Developer
Hayden started at edge in 2019. He has been working on a number of finance improvements and also the MoE Te Rito project.

Phil Simms
Head of Customer
Phil joined ELS in 2001 after teaching in a number of Primary, Intermediate and Secondary schools for the previous 17 years. During his time at ELS Phil has been involved with Support, Marketing and Sales and delivering seminars. Over the years this has evolved into his current Head of Sales role. Phil brings into this role a blend of his considerable knowledge of ELS software and inherent knowledge of education and schooling.
Ray Sutton
Solutions Specialist - Secondary
Ray has worked with ELS since 2015 in a training, account management and consultancy role.
Prior to this he worked in a similar role for 15 years with a company providing software support for MUSAC schools. Ray had an education background having been a Secondary School Science/Maths teacher for 17 years.
Deborah Sims
Solutions Specialist - Primary and Intermediate
Deborah is a Solution Specialist for ELS. She has worked in this position since 1999, specialising in training, account management and problem solving. Prior to this she has worked in the educational field for 8 years
Jason Stevenson
Senior Support Desk
Jason has worked for ELS since 1999 in training, account management and problem solving roles. Prior to this he used ELS while teaching computer studies, science and chemistry from Year 7-13.
Rebecca Denholm
Support Desk
Rebecca has been working for ELS in the Customer Support team since 2003.
Prior to this she has worked in customer service and the banking industry.

Matt Jennings
Sales Manager
Matt is a sales professional with over seven years' experience working in the document and software space.
Originally from Gisborne New Zealand, he has spent time in the U.K and Australia providing international exposure and opportunities. Matt joined Edge in 2020.
Claire Murphy
Marketing Manager
Claire joined Edge Learning Solutions in early 2023. Claire has a qualification in journalism and a rich history spanning seven years in marketing, communications and event management within the education sector.
Originally from Wellington, Claire and has called Palmerston North home for the last 9 years.

Shaun Croskery
Chief Executive Officer
Shaun is the Chief Executive Officer for Edge Learning Solutions. He has been involved in both, technical and sales sides of information management in NZ and the USA. Shaun brings with him over 20 years of experience in the education sector and has a passion for furthering technology in learning environments.
Joanne Shortall
Business and Operations Manager
Joanne is the Business and Operations Manager at Edge Learning Solutions, joining in 2017. She is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Joanne has been involved with School governance for a number of years and brings this experience into her position at edge.
Ji Yoon Roh
Accountant
Ji Yoon Roh graduated from DanKook University in South Korea in 2003 with a degree in Accounting.
She has worked for various companies in South Korea in the semiconductor industry in accountancy and customer relations roles, moving to New Zealand. She joined edge learning in 2018.
